Port Adelaide can just send disgraced star Jeremy Finlayson subtle message.

Finlayson is available for selection for Thursday night AFL blockbuster vs Adelaide after serving three-game ban for abusing an opponent in the Round 4 game against Essendon.

The umpire’s microphone picked up the insult, which was heard by multiple players and at least one Bombers player called it out as well.

The versatile big man has since apologized and his suspension ended, but Port chose to overlook him for the crucial meeting at Adelaide Oval.

Until then, Finlayson had been named to every game this year.

Port Adelaide have named emerging superstar Conor Rosey for the Showdowns despite their young captain suffering a hamstring scare during the clash against St Kilda last Friday.

The Force also lost Aliir Aliir (concussion) and Sam Powell-Pepper (last for the season with an ACL), but they were replaced by defender Ryan Burton and Jed McEntee.

The Crows have named Jordan Butts and veteran defender Brodie Smith for the game, as well as handing the exciting Daniel Curtin a debut.

Curtin was selected at No. 8 in last year’s draft and his debut was highly anticipated after impressing in pre-season.

Luke Pedlar will miss the Showdown with a shoulder injury, while coach Matthew Nix has dropped Will Hamill and James Borlas.
